Abstract: The performance of the slag cement blended with desulphurization gypsum is studied. The result shows that the desulphurization gypsum by thermal treatment which is mixed into slag cement can improve the strength of the cement and the work performance of motar, and adjust the setting time effectively. The thermal condition and addition content of the desulphurization gypsum in the slag cement bring some impact on the cement properties, but there is an optimal thermal condition and content under which the work performance and strength of the cement are the best. If the content of SO3 in the cement lies in a certain range, the more the content of the desulphurization gypsum, the higher the strength of the cement. Thus, we can improve the performance of slag cement by mixing a great deal of desulphurization gypsum, and this is an effective way to utilize the industrial waste. So this is friendly to the eco-environment.
