Abstract: This article introduced the research of a new type of Ni saving heat-resistant steel T709U. This new material can replace ZG40Cr25Ni20Si2 which is widely used in cement clinker burning equipments and reduce the cost.The result shows that the new material's performance in high temperature wear resistance, high temperature corrosion resistant is superior to ZG40Cr25Ni20Si2 by contrasting high temperature tensile test, high temperature oxidation test, high temperature corrosion test and high temperature wear test of two materials. So the new material has more advantages in cement clinker burning equipments.
