Abstract: In the cement industry, the coal cost occupies a high proportion in the total production cost. To realize the complementary advantages of different kinds and different properties of coal, cement companies choose to mix anthracite and bituminous coal for the purpose of saving energy and reducing consumption. In this paper, an industrial experiment of coal combustion catalyst for mixed coal, which was developed by Sinoma International, was conducted on China Resources Yanshan 5000t/d cement production line. The data and analysis results show that, after the use of this catalyst standard coal consumption per ton clinker is reduced by 7.3%, clinker production is increased by 4.25%, NOx emission is reduced by 7.45% and liter weight of clinker is increased by 8.46% . Its effect of energy saving and consumption reduction is obvious, which has significant economic and social benefits.
