Abstract: A processing technology for preparing new cement-based materials by using pre-activation of low grade fly ash was studied. The influence of parameters, such as mineral activator, phosphorus gypsum and activation condition on admixture activation were discussed here. The mineral structure of activation products was examined by means of X-ray diffraction (XRD), and the application prospect of this material was analyzed. The results show that dosage of mineral activator and thermal activation may enhance the activation of admixture for fly ash, the later intensity can be improved by adding right amount gypsum. Fly ash can be most used in cement admixture production, which have good physical and mechanical properties, contribute social and economical benefits.
