Abstract: Research is made on the influence of clinker modular value on rotary kiln capacity, clinker physical property, water reducer compatibility, hydration heat and impact resistance of cement mortar. The results shows that when compared with normal proportion of new dry cement kiln, the reduced clinker heat consumption, improved kiln capacity and decreased clinker strength, especially early strength, are obtained when clinker modular value at KH=0.90~0.91, SM=1.95~2.00, AM=0.95~1.0. But when making concrete with such clinker cement, the concrete provided excellent water reducer compatibility, lower hydration heat and good impact resistance, particularly suit concrete engineering, such as road and airport construction, pipe column products and large volume concrete construction in hot weather.
