Abstract: On the basis of fuzzy mathematic theory, a comprehensive evaluation method was developed to evaluate the general arrangement of cement plant quantitatively. Evaluation index about the general arrangement of cement plant was described in 6 aspects: technological process, general arrangement, transportation, ground development, natural condition, facility application. A multi-level evaluation index system was established, and the weight of each level index was determined. The construction project of Nanyang Pingmei Tianrui Cement Ltd. was taken as a typical case,general arrangement schemes were compared and analyzed, the result shows complete agreement with actual situation. The method can be used to assess the general arrangement of cementplant quantitatively and make decision among different schemes.
