Abstract: In order to adapt to materials with different grindability, high moisture content and different product specifications, a new roller mill device -TRM36.3 wet coal-fired furnace slag /slag vertical roller mill was designed and developed. The mill would be able to grind not only more than 25% moisture content of wet coal-fired furnace slag to prepare ultra-fine powders, but also slag powder, which achieve a specific surface area of 600m2/kg or more with the roll mill main motor consumption of 17~18kWh/t for wet coal-fired furnace slag, and the specific surface area of above 420m2/kg with the main motor electrical energy consumption of 26~28kWh/t for slag. The mill was multi-functional and energy-saving, which will greatly accelerate the solid waste utilization, and create more economic benefits. That was extremely important to energy conservation and environmental protection.
