Abstract: In order to obtain the stress nephogram, deformation displacement of the roller shaft, the roller shaft was analyzed respectively based on the method of mechanics of materials and finite element analysis. The external load of the roller shaft was calculated through mechanical analysis, and then the finite element analysis of the roller shaft was carried out by using finite element software. The strength and deformation of the roller shaft was checked. The suggestions on optimizing the design of the roller shaft were put forward finally. The method provides the basis for the design and optimization of the roller shaft.
