Abstract: Current preheater technology development is briefly introduced. In order to improve the efficiency of cyclone separation, and reduce resistance loss, a type of weak eddy current and low resistance preheater technology is developed. The existing preheater tower structure would not require being changed and the cyclone cylinder diameter not to be enlarged. It can be utilized under the premise of present preheater selection, through optimizing cyclones to reduce resistance by more than 10%, and improve the preheater system separation efficiency to more than 95%. Now it has been applied in many production lines, and the cost of cement production has been significantly reduced.
