Abstract The cement industry widely uses roller presses as pre-crushing equipment for grinding systems, and the efficient work of the roller press has become a focus of industry attention. By analyzing the impact of the roller press's feeding valve and roller surface, the gap between side baffles, the roller gap, the working pressure of the roller press, the intermediate silo and feeding chute, V-shaped powder separator and clinker particle size on the work of roller press, optimization and improvement measures are proposed to ensure the stable operation of the roller press's material bed extrusion, maintain the work current at 90%±5% of the rated current and improve the power efficiency of the roller press.
