Abstract: Based on the design practice of ABMC 10 000t/d clinker cement production line in United Arab Emirates, the author introduces in detail the design of fire protection system of Heavy Fuel Oil (HFO) tank farm by calculation and comparison, including the adoption of codes and standards, the selection of cooling mode, a method of determining cooling water quantity.
