Abstract: The control requirements of water-soluble chromium (VI) content in cement at home and abroad and the current methods and measures to reduce the content of water-soluble chromium (VI) in clinker and cement are reviewed. The research and application cases of reducing water-soluble chromium (VI) in cement industry are discussed from the aspects of common chromium reducing agents, industrial waste chromium reducing agents, raw materials, process control, etc. , and it is pointed out that there are still deficiencies in the current research on chromium reduction in the cement industry. It is suggested that further research should be carried out on the systematic mechanism of chromium reduction of industrial solid waste, the optimization of cement kiln collaborative disposal of solid and dangerous waste technology, and the development of new high-efficiency and low-cost chromium reduction agent products.
