Abstract: The basic properties of the ferronickel slag powder produced by roller mill have been tested. The influence of ferronickel slag powder as the concrete admixture to the mechanical performance, work performance and durability of concrete has been investigated based on 30% and 40% mixed proportions, and compared with grade S95 slag powder and grade II fly ash. Results show that the slump and mechanical performance of concrete using ferronickel slag powder as the admixture are slightly worse than the slag powder and fly ash concrete, with nearly the same setting time as slag powder concrete but less setting time than grade II fly ash concrete. Based on appropriate mixed proportions, the frost resistance and carbonization resistance of ferronickel slag powder concrete are equivalent to those of slag powder and grade II fly ash concrete.
