Abstract: To provide reference for design and analysis of the preheater frame structure joints, aimed at the actual preheater concrete-filled steel tube beam-column joints, the force and deformation properties under the monotonic load and cyclic reciprocating load was studied. With the numerical simulation method, the seismic performances of the beam-column joints of the structure was studied, and the study mainly focuses on the bearing capacity under monotonic loading, the ductility under low cyclic loading and the energy dissipation ability of the joints. Through the analyses, it could be concluded that the enforced loop joint of concrete filled steel-tubular column had typical characteristic of joint of "strong column and weak beam", and the joint had good ability of hysteretic energy.
