Abstract: Compared with the traditional limestone batching production line, the calcium carbide slag batching production line has poor stability of the kiln system, and the problems of system crusting and ring formation are more prominent. Analysis and research have found the main factors affecting the rotary kiln ring formation. By using low-alkali fly ash to replace part of the high-alkali raw materials, the sulfur-alkali ratio of the clinker is controlled between 0.75 and 0.90, the 100% calcium carbide slag batching rotary kiln production system has reached the normal operation standard, and the problem of rotary kiln ring formation has been solved.
