Abstract Geopolymeric cement is a new kind of cementitious material activated by some chemical activator. Preparing technique, raw materials,hydration and hardened mechanism completely differ from those of Portland cement. Its properties and applications are also much superior to Portland cement. Geopolymeric cement is thought to have great potentiality to replace Portland cement in some engineering fields. According to the results of wide researches and tests abroad, the factors that affect the preparing of the geopolymeric cement were investigated by laboratory experiments.
