Abstract As it is difficult to observe the calcining status and to analyze a large number of parameters in time, and to record／compare well the abundant data of the kiln, it is necessary to carry out the online detection continuously at real time aiming at kiln feed rate and temperature by using multimedia technology which links the computer with the image processing and radiate heat transmission.
