Abstract The drying feature of roller mill during raw material grinding is presented by the author. The computing method for drying ability is discussed from two aspects of heat transfer and heat input. From the balance of drying ability and grinding capability, the applied material water content and high moisture effect on mill capacity is analyzed in the paper.
