Abstract A blower base was investigated by a dynamic test under normal working conditions. The acceleration and displacement time-history of control points were collected and dynamic analysis such as spectrum analysis was carried out. The change of dynamic characteristics including natural frequency and damping ratio were fully obtained and temperatures of all the points in normal operation were measured. The design basis of blower base is provided.
