Abstract CFD numerical research platform of classifier built and solely owned by Tianjin Cement Industry Design and Research Institute is used to simulate the pressure loss and classifying efficiency of the blades widely used in industry, by which a new U shape blades classifier with low pressure loss and high efficiency is put forward. Secondly, several industrial application sites such as the classifier of TRMS43.3 slag vertical roller mill in QIANJIN Metallurgy Technology Ltd. are carried out on the basis of adequate theory studies as well as experiments, and good performance are achieved in all the industrial application sites, thereby providing a technology choose with good industrial application value to realize the energy conservation of grinding system.
