Abstract
Liquid gas rock breaking technology uses pure liquid oxygen or a mixture of liquid nitrogen and oxygen, which undergoes physical phase transformation, gasification, expansion, and work to break rocks. It is a new type of mining rock breaking technology. Taking a cement raw material mine as an example, combined with the geological conditions, production status, and the law of liquid gas phase change energy conversion of the mine, the technical parameters and construction methods for rock breaking operations are determined, and the application experiments are carried out. The evaluation of rock breaking effect testing shows that this technology has a high rock breaking efficiency, and the secondary harmful effects such as vibration, noise, and flying stones brought about during the implementation process are smaller than those of explosive blasting. There are no toxic and harmful pollutants produced, and it is more economical than mechanical rock breaking methods.
