Abstract To meet the market demand for Portland cement in nuclear power projects and address the challenge of producing high-quality clinker from high-silica, low-calcium limestone, this study employed optimized raw materials and fuels, four-component raw meal blending, and refined calcination control techniques to produce nuclear-grade cement clinker with a silica ratio of approximately 3.50 and an alkali content below 0.40%. The resulting P·N42.5 cement exhibits the "three lows and one high" characteristics (low alkali, low heat of hydration, low dry shrinkage, and high early strength), not only meeting national standards but also providing a new pathway for the high-value utilization of low-grade limestone.
