Abstract The development process of cement kiln refractory brick standard was described, the VDZ B, ISO[π3] series brick features and C series of innovations was analyzed, the main technical data and the ratio of various series of brick was introduced, and the development trend of the refractory brick was forecasted. C series brick on the industrial test of nearly 40 kilns has been used of 8 000 t bricks, according to unit ton of clinker is about 0.6 kg brick to estimate, it is equivalent to about 12.5 million tons of cement clinker production. C series refractory brick type standard can meet the technical progress of precalcining kiln in China, and is superior to the existing international standards, which speeds up the process of Chinese cement production technology from big to strong.
