Abstract It analyzed the cause and source of deep hole dust in before,during and after blasting.Through some tests, it found that applied several methods, such as pre-wetting blasting area, water deck charge, stemming by crushed stone, parameters optimization and so on, the dust of deep-hole blasting in one limestone quarry was effectively constrained, and local government requirements for the new big international airport navigation safety was met.
