Abstract The reasons for the low operation rate and frequent failures of the bulk conveying system in the power plant are analyzed. In 2018, the bulk conveying system was optimized, and the equipment structure was improved. After the technical transformation, the system's operating rate increased to 90%, which greatly saved the equipment maintenance costs and improved the operating environment, achieving the expected effect of technical transformation.This method is also applicable to the transformation of old chain conveyor in cement factory.
