Abstract This paper introduces the two support kiln operation skills of the decomposing rate control of the raw meal, the fast burning of the thin material, the adjustment of the flame shape, the use of the bypass system, the control of the secondary air temperature and so on. It analyzes the causes of the problems in the two support kiln operation process, such as the shrinkage and skinning of the kiln inlet chamber, the frequent dropping of the kiln coating, the ring formation in the kiln, the raw meal burning in the clinker and the multi sheet clinker, and then introduces the corresponding treatment measures.
