Abstract This article describes the method of using Anybus AB7000 communication gateway in a cement plant. It converts the Elite440 power meter which use RS-485 as the interface Modbus RTU serial communication mode to the Profibus-DP fieldbus communication method supported by the ABB 800xA control system, realizes the remote reading and monitoring of serial interface device parameters.
