Abstract Based on the process characteristics and control requirements of a wet desulfurization system for a 6 000t/d cement clinker production line, this paper introduces the application of Siemens DCS system in the cement kiln desulfurization system, and the method how to use this DCS system to achieve fully automatic control operation of the flue system, absorption tower system, limestone slurry preparation system, gypsum dewatering system, and accident slurry system. Since its operation, the desulfurization system of this production line has achieved a flue gas SO2 emission concentration of <15mg/Nm3, meeting the national A-level emission limit standard.
