Abstract With the improvement of cement industry and technology, the national standard GB 16780-2012 "The norm of energy consumption per unit products of cement" has been unable to meet the requirements of the development of cement industry. Combining the latest progress of NSP cement energy saving technology, it is necessary to carry out a revision of the standard. Through the standard revision and implementation, it will further improve China's cement industry energy efficiency, reduce the toxic and harmful substances emissions, improve resources comprehensive utilization, advance the cement industry to use the current technology and equipment to reduce the energy consumption, improve production technology, equipment and quality management level, promote the sustainable development of cement industry.
