Through theoretical and test investigations, TSD calciner suitable for anthracite coal firing is developed. Combined with engineering practice, TSD calciners are succeed applied on 2500～5000t／d cement clinker production lines.

Microstructure investigations on the hardened cement past blended with different mineral admixtures are made by using A.C. impedance spectroscopy. Based on the variation of A.C. response related to different ages and different cement compositions, the microstructure of hardened cement past added with admixture is analyzed. Relationships between microstructure and properties are discussed on the testing base.

Fly ash powder which was ground to different size was mixed with Portland cement in different proportions. Optimal particle size distribution (with maximum bulk density) was obtained according to Dinger－Funk Equation, and actual particle size distributions of each fly ash cement were calculated based on the testing results made by LS－230 granulometer. The relationships between particle size distribution and Dinger－Funk bulk density were investigated by grey connection analysis method.The properties of fly ash cement samples were tested in order to show the theory analyses. The results indicated that fly ash cement may have better properties than that of theory bulk density when the value of grey connection is higher between these two conditions.

This paper present the production process and operation practice of the first domestic－made roller mill used in Hangzhuo Ziheng Quarry Slag Powder Co., Ltd. Effect of each factor on the mill stability is discussed here. Products quality and economic operation are ensured through optimization of system installation, process parameters and operating method.
