Abstract This paper puts forward that the cement industry change the cement kiln raw meal powder feeding system into rotor scale feeding system and flow regulating valve into air-powered cut-off valve in view of the shortcomings such as feeding instability, large metering error, low precision in use of solid flowmeter. After renovation, the fluctuation of value feedback is less than 0.5%; the current fluctuation of the elevator is less than 5A; the metering error of calibration is 0.2%; both the metering precision and feeding stability are higher than those of the solid flowmeter.
