Abstract The characteristics and application of the adaptive controlling SNCR system has been introduced. In a cement plant in Shanxi province, the NOx emission is under 100 mg/m3 , which meets the requirements of the future NOx ultra-low emission limit. Compare with SCR technology, adaptive controlling SNCR technology has the advantages of low investment and low operation cost, so adaptive controlling SNCR technology is a very promising technology.
