Research and Engineering Application of the Staged Combustion Self-denitration Calciner Technology

The formation mechanism of NOx in the combustion process of cement kiln was discussed. The staged combustion self-denitration technology of calciner was introduced. A laboratory vertical electric furnace research platform was set up to simulate NOx related reaction in calciner. Experiment was carried out to obtain the relevant reaction principleof CO and NO, and correlation between reaction rate and different temperatures, residence times and atmosphere were studied. The application of a cement project in Hubei showed self-denitration calciner achieved denitration efficiency more than 60%, NOx concent of calciner outlet gas <400mg/Nm3, monthly average ammonia consumption decreased by more than 60%, saving more than 2 million CNY per year.

Design requirements of raw meal homogenization system was expounded, the application of γ- ray analyzer in the raw meal system was introduced in details. γ- ray analyzer can thoroughly solve the problem of "representativeness" of the samples, with a high success rate of qualified materials, and it can simplify, optimize the homogenization chain, the factory covered area of dropped sharply. Investment of equipment, labor cost and raw meal preparation power consumption was significantly reduced.

The external circulation technology of raw material roller mill is a new stage in the development of roller mill system. The external circulation reform of the raw material roller mill system can save energy remarkably. After the external circulation reform, the power consumption of the raw mill system is comparable to that of the raw material final grinding system of the roller press. The reform of external circulation roller mill of raw material final grinding system can retain the equipment and foundation of the original roller mill. Compared with modification of the raw material final grinding system with the new roller press, it can save about half of the investment and reach the energy consumption index equivalent to that of the raw material final grinding system of the roller press. In 2018, Tianjin Cement Industry Design & Research Institute Co., Ltd. carried out two projects. Practice shows that this kind of modification can improve the system output, reduce raw mill fineness, and reduce the power consumption of the raw mill system by 4kWh/t compared with that before the external circulation reform.

During the actual operation of the coal mill fan, the non-working surface of the fan is easy for the ash to enter, which causes the fan to vibrate. By reducing the dust concentration, replacing the motor impeller and modifying the air inlet, the impeller ash coating is greatly reduced, and the fan operation is more stable.

Discussion on the Maintenance Scheme of Large Roller Mill Reducer

In view of the frequent failure of the reducer of the slag roller grinding machine, special protective measures were made. When the vibration value of the mill exceeded 15mm/s, after the delay of 5s the mill would stop; a horizontal and vertical vibration sensors was installed at the high-speed shaft of the reducer. When one of the vibration values exceeded 4mm/s, after the delay of 4s the mill would stop. The material feeding should be uniformed, and the specific gravity of the particle size of less than 20mm should be controlled more than 95%. The advanced point inspection instrument was used to strengthen the point inspection and the data was automatically analyzed. Other operations were suggested, such as check the inside of the reducer regularly, check the filter of the reducer oil station regularly, choose suitable lubricating oil products, monthly analyze the deceleration engine lubricant, replace the lubricant according to the inspection results.

The general situation of NSCI 5 000t/d cement desulfurization project is briefly introduced. This project adopts the limestone (or lime) - gypsum wet desulfurization process, uses cement kiln ash as the absorbent. The material balance and water balance of the desulfurization system are both discussed, and the process flow of wastewater treatment in the desulfurization system is also described. The influence of the high concentration of chloride ion on the desulfurization system is analyzed, and then a solution of the desulfurization wastewater treatment is provided.

Study on the Cement Composites Toughened by Graphene Aerogel

The stability and dispersion of graphene lamellae in cement are the key points to play the toughening role of graphene. In this paper, the graphene lamellae were transformed into aerogel to achieve uniform dispersion of graphene sheets on three dimensional scales. Subsequently, the graphene aerogels were introduced into the cement system to investigate the effect of graphene aerogels on the mechanical properties of cement composites. Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy, X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy, laser micro-Raman spectroscopy, scanning electron microscopy, universal testing machine and dynamic mechanical properties were used to characterize the surface chemical state, micro-morphology and mechanical properties of the materials. The results show that the graphene aerogels with relatively stable properties can be prepared by Hummers oxidation method combined with hydrothermal reaction process, and the characteristics of carbon atoms in aerogels are similar to those of graphene lamellar carbon atoms. Graphene aerogels have obvious toughening effect on cement-based materials, which shows great potential for application.

The composition and working principle of the TSLM Sidebo raw material roller mill seal feeder system are briefly described. The feeder requires only installation space of 3.5m×2.9m, which is the same as the existing flap valve interface and can be directly replaced. The installation workload is small, the cycle is short, and the transformation has little impact on the existing production. After the transformation, good lock air can effectively reduce the sticking of the viscous material, and it greatly reduced the labor intensity of manual cleaning, significantly reduced the number of process failures, improved the reliability of the raw material system, and reduced the power consumption of the raw material system.
