Abstract This paper introduces the structure, technical parameters and working principle of LM type vertical roller mill, as well as the technological process of gypsum grinding production line, analyzes the factors affecting the stable operation of the vertical roller mill, summarizes the operation experience. The mill capacity is stable at 50~55t/h, the power consumption of the main machine is 7~8kWh/t, the power consumption of the system is less than 15kWh/t, 30% lower than that of the ordinary powder mill.
