Abstract Neutral point effective grounding system (high current grounding system) and neutral point non-effective grounding system commonly used in power systems was introduced. Explored several grounding modes and applications such as medium and high voltage system, low-voltage system, DCS system and joint grounding in cement plants was analysed.
