    Technical Transformation of Preheater System of 2 500t/d Cement Clinker Production Line   Collect

    The clinker output of the preheater system of a cement production line in Changxing, Zhejiang Province was 3 000 ~ 3 100t/d, the raw coal consumption was about 146kg/t.cl, and the system resistance is relatively large. In order to achieve the purpose of saving energy and reducing consumption, the cyclones, the splash boxes, the calciner, the connect section between the calciner and the kiln inlet chamber , etc  were reformed. After the transformation, the clinker output increased by 150 ~ 250t/d, the raw coal consumption decreased by 3kg/t.cl, the pressure loss of preheater system decreased by 1 600 Pa, the negative pressure of C1 outlet was about 4 200 Pa, and its pressure loss was at the advanced level in the same scale production lines in China.

The real operation shows that the actual production of the roller mill is in good condition, and the mill runs stably and all the indexes meet the requirements of the contract.

    The paper introduces the selection and calculation method of the main parameters of LM3722N slag roller mill and the structure, working principle and design features of the mill. The commissioning and operation control points of the slag vertical roller mill are discussed. Operation on site showed that the LM3722N slag roller mill has well met the design objective. The capacity is 100t/h, the specific surface area is 400m2/kg, and the vibration value is 5~12m/s.

    According to Fourier's law, Newton's cooling law and the relevant parameters of the roller shaft of the roller crusher, the heat conduction model of the roller shaft was established, and the usage of the roller shaft under different working conditions was simulated and calculated. At 600 ℃ operating temperature, the roller shaft was air-cooled and 40Cr material could be used safely. At 850 ℃ operating temperature, the roller material was changed to 0Cr18Ni9, or the roller material remained unchanged, for the cause of safety, the cooling method must be changed to water cooling.

    The forming process of large-scale tyre, casting instead of forging by using large-scale forging and ring rolling equipment was introduced, and the chemical composition of forging steel and heat treatment process of the tyre was optimized. Test results showed that the overall mechanical properties of the large-scale forged tyre, included the body tensile properties, could fully meet the technical requirements of customers, and the impact performance of the tyre at room temperature and 
    -20 ℃, were far better than the technical requirements of German Standard DIN 17205.

    In order to achieve the design target of low energy consumption and low cost, the schemes of the pulverized coal bins at the preheater and the cooler along with the layout of the traditional pulverized coal bins are studied in detaisl from the aspects of process, structure, architecture and electrical. The index of energy consumption and quantity are also compared. Compared with the traditional pulverized coal bins in the coal mill workshop, the scheme arranged near the coal point in preheater and cooler separately can reduce the pulse phenomenon generated by the long-distance pulverized coal transportation, and the impact on the heat consumption of the burning system by cold air is also reduced.

    This paper introduces easy methods and the upgrading process to achieve constant voltage cascade control on steam turbines by combining WOODWARD505 device and DCS system during waste heat power generation in cement kilns. The application of constant voltage cascade control can make steam turbines operate more smoothly so that the load of waste heat power stations can be adjusted automatically and the work load of operators in the central control room can be lightened.

    It introduced the basic frames and functions of Energy Management System (EMS) in details. According the actual situations of the DCS in site, it adopted the different solutions to fulfill the communication, acquisition and accumulation of the underlying data. Getting through the data flow is fundamental for the establishment of the EMS to make remote supervision, data analysis, operation diagnosis and fault warning realizable and it could improve the level of the management of power stations.

    The formation mechanism of NOx in cement kilns is analyzed, and the characteristics of staged combustion technologies such as coal separation, material separation and air separation are introduced. The results of the staged combustion test of a production line in southwestern China show that the initial NOx emission concentration of the cement clinker production line burning high-sulfur anthracite is high, and the staged combustion reduces the NOx concentration before the SNCR of the cement clinker production line, and reduces the denitration load of the SNCR. The average value of staged combustion is 16.38%, and the average value of NOx before SNCR is 1 378.66 mg/Nm3.

    This paper introduces the propagation and frequency spectrum characteristics of the jet noise of the air box pulse bag dust collector, analyzes the causes of the jet noise in the clean air box and through the nozzle and the valve body, and puts forward the solutions. By adopting the measures of sound insulation board and ultra-fine glass wool sound absorption, the noise value is significantly reduced and the noise emission requirements are met.

    The technical measures such as increasing the opening of cold air valve, increasing the ventilation volume and the proportion of cold air in the mill were taken to reduce the cement temperature of the open circuit mill. After the technical transformation, the temperature of cement out of the mill is reduced by about 30℃, the initial setting time and final setting time are extended by about 23 minutes and 31 minutes respectively, the temperature of the bearing of the sliding shoe at the grinding tail is reduced from 58℃~60℃ to 50℃~53℃, the negative pressure at the inlet of the dust collector at the grinding tail is increased by about 150 Pa, and the power consumption is increased by 0.5 kWh/t cement, the cement performance is greatly improved, and the equipment operation rate is improved.

    This paper introduces the problems of low secondary air temperature, high clinker temperature and unsatisfactory heat exchange efficiency in the operation of LBTF 3200 grate cooler, analyzes the influence of material layer, air pressure of cooling fans and air volume on the performance of grate cooler, and puts forward the technical reform plan. After the technical reform, the secondary air temperature increases by 40℃ on average, the third air temperature increases by 68℃ on average, the coal feeding quantity of kiln head decreases by 0.5t/h on average, the coal feeding quantity of decomposition furnace decreases by 0.2t/h on average, and the annual coal saving fund can reach millions of yuan.

    In order to solve the problems of low wind pressure at the outlet of the primary fan, weak flame intensity, and high system power consumption, an air suspension fan was used to perform energy-saving transformation. The original primary fan backup fan was removed, the air suspension fan on the original base was installed with the overall design and installation of the suspension fan outlet pipe. After the transformation, the wind pressure at the outlet of the primary fan increased significantly, the pulverized coal was fully burnt, the flame adjustment was flexible, and the power could be saved by 30kWh per hour. Silencers were added to the two empty discharge pipes, and the noise reduction effect was significant.

    From the aspects of equipment reliability, batch adjustment, material homogenization, auxiliary primary combustion materials, etc., the problem of high free-CaO in clinker was analyzed. By taking measures such as strengthening the communication between laboratory batching personnel and production operators, improving equipment operation rate, flexibly adjusting sampling time, ensuring auxiliary raw fuel supply, increasing clinker analysis times, stabilizing limestone silo level, etc., the fluctuation range of clinker free-CaO can be stably controlled between 0.5% and 1.3%.

    Based on the analysis of clinker petrography and the diagnosis of thermal calibration, the main reason of core material in clinker is the lack of air flow in the pyro-system and the dense reduction atmosphere caused by incomplete combustion of pulverized coal in the kiln. The technical failure rate of rotary kiln has been greatly reduced by changing the punching plate flowmeter into a rotor scale, replacing the ordinary tilting plate valve with a fretting tilting plate valve, adding an air guide wall at the entrance of the tertiary air duct to the calciner, and replacing a new coal injection pipe, the quality and performance of clinker are improved significantly, and the energy consumption is decreased obviously.

     In this paper, potassium phosphate, magnesium oxide, borax and fly ash were used as raw materials to prepare magnesium phosphate cement(MPC) by a certain percentage. The workability and strength were used as indicators to study the effects of water-to-binder ratio, magnesium oxide and phosphate molar ratio (M/P), borax and fly ash on the properties of MPCs. X-ray diffractometer and scanning electron microscope were used to investigate the hydration product of MPCs and the effect of fly ash on it. The results show that when water-to-binder ratio is 0.34, M/P=3/1, mixed with 10% borax and 40% fly ash, the strength of MPCs is the highest, reaching 54.2 MPa.
