Abstract The paper analyzes the project cost at the problems existing in the work, introduces a 3d model based on BIM technology integration (3D), the construction schedule (4D), the cost (5D) in the integration of new engineering cost management pattern, which can realize overall planning at the beginning of the project's preliminary quotation, change management of ongoing projects, economic indicators of the project controls, project measurement payment, etc. In construction process, contract, schedule, cost, quality, safety and other information can be integrated into BIM platform, form an integrated engineering digital information base, the participants in each stage can utilize all kinds of engineering information in real time and efficiently as needed. It greatly improved the accuracy of the calculation of quantities, calculation accuracy and computational efficiency.
