Abstract This paper introduces the magnesia process of the flue gas desulfurization for heating boiler. The pH value of magnesia process is between 6.0~6.5, the desulfurization efficiency can reach 95% ~ 98%. It has high desulfurization efficiency, and low investment and operation cost. After the project's operation, the SO2 emission concentration is reduced to 35mg/Nm3, and the dust emission concentration <10mg/Nm3, it has obvious economic benefit and high environmental benefit.
