In the cement production process, bulk materials handling are concerned in all processes from raw materials mine to finished products, therefore powder technology development and progress are of great significance for the cement industry. In this paper, main research contents of powder technology and the application of innovative powder technologies in the cement industry are introduced. Also the requirements for powder technology and equipments from the perspective of wastes disposal in cement industry are presented, which becomes the new application of powder technology in cement industry.

Combined with examples, the influence of material characteristics, including particle size, particle size distribution, moisture, inherent properties, foreign matter and others, on the roller press combined grinding system were analyzed. It is concluded that only appropriate material can guarantee high grinding efficiency and running rate. For various material characteristics, corresponding measures are provided from process and operation perspectives.

The importance of ensuring the bag frame verticality of bag filter was simply presented. According to the bag frame, the verticality definition and standard of tolerance, two methods to check the bag frame verticality, checking principle and determination standard were particularly illustrated. Also points for attention in terms of design, manufacturing, detection and installation were explained briefly. It is concluded that a correct checking method is significant for the verticality examination of the bag frame.
