Municipal Solid Waste Incineration (MSWI) fly ash was successfully used as raw material in sintering Alinite cement clinker in the laboratory. In this paper, formation progress of Alinite cement clinker, influence of gypsum on the hydration of alinite cement, hydration heat release rate, hydration product and its microstructure were studied. Results show that Alinite cement clinker can be sintered by using MSWI fly ash as a major raw material. During the sintering, C2S, C12A7 and C2S·CaCl2 was presented first, then make alinite cement clinker when react with MgO, CaCl2. Addition appropriate amount of gypsum can improve the early compressive strength and accelerate the hydration rate of Alinite cement, and the Alinite cement can be utilized as a kind of early-strength and rapid-hardening cement; Hydration product of Alinite cement not only includes CSH gel, AFt with clavate shapes and CH crystals which can be observed in Portland cement, but also has C3A·CaCl2·10H2O crystals.

Comprehensive Fuzzy Assessment on the General Arrangement of Cement Plant
Collect
XIA Hao, WU Zhen-hua, GAO Hong-wei
Cement Technology, 2010, 1(6): 28-33.
On the basis of fuzzy mathematic theory, a comprehensive evaluation method was developed to evaluate the general arrangement of cement plant quantitatively. Evaluation index about the general arrangement of cement plant was described in 6 aspects: technological process, general arrangement, transportation, ground development, natural condition, facility application. A multi-level evaluation index system was established, and the weight of each level index was determined. The construction project of Nanyang Pingmei Tianrui Cement Ltd. was taken as a typical case, general arrangement schemes were compared and analyzed, the result shows complete agreement with actual situation. The method can be used to assess the general arrangement of cementplant quantitatively and make decision among different schemes.
