Preliminary Study of Precalciner Simulation in Cement Line Commissioning

Tianjin Cement Industry Design and Research Institute Co., Ltd. has developed a computer emulation testing bed with 3D numerical simulation function based on engineering practice. By using this system, the engineers of TCDRI engaged production commissioning on 3# line of Huarun Cement (Pingnan) Co., Ltd. Forecasting on temperature field distribution on precalciner is made successfully, thus provide a new method for cement plant commissioning.

Lining Improvement on Forced Heat-exchange Area of Wet Rotary Kiln

Inner structure and weakness of heat-exchange area in precalcining zone on wet-process kiln are introduced in this paper. A scheme to improve this area is pointed by the author. Based on this scheme, an improvement is made by a plant on the forced heat-exchange area on a wet rotary kiln. It is proved that the lifetime of inner lining is prolonged, and the service life of embedded dispersing plate is much improved than the original one. Both heat dispersion of kiln body and coal consumption is reduced. Thus the unit capacity of wet-process kiln and economic profit is increased.
