Abstract: Since the raw meal bin is set outside the Homo-silo, the delivery route of raw meal is long, the delay time is also increased. When a traditional single PID program for the bin weight is applied, the current of discharging bucket elevator often fluctuates greatly or even the elevator trips due to overload, also causes instable material flow of the weigh feeder due to the bin weight fluctuation. Stable discharge of raw meal can be achieved by applying a cascade PID control program to the discharge of the Homo-silo and to the control optimization of the raw meal bin weight.
