Abstract: This paper mainly analyzes the influence of cement particle size distribution, cement admixture and gypsum, cement clinker on the adaptability of cement. Results of dry laser particle size analyzer show that there is little difference in the gradation of cement particles with good and bad adaptability. Results of testing the key components of admixture and gypsum as well as small grinding test show that the adaptability of the cement made by grinding with different quality of cement mixture and retarder on the basis of the same clinker is not obvious. Results of X-ray fluorescence detection, lithofacies analysis and diffraction analysis of cement clinker show that the quality of clinker is the main reason for the poor adaptability of cement. The higher the content of C3A and alkali in clinker, the worse the adaptability of cement. In practical application, by controlling the sulfur-alkali ratio of clinker is less than 0.45, improving KH and AM of clinker appropriately, and matching the air, coal and clinker in kiln strictly, the problem of poor adaptability of cement is effectively solved.
