Abstract This paper introduces the features and functions of PPM in BIM platform. Using big data in BIM platform and rectifying man hour quantification constantly, the PPM accuracy will be higher. It elaborates the PPM hierarchical structure and WBS subitems weight. It also discusses PPM function extension by establishing connection with human resources, other key resources and materials of the project in BIM platform. PPM information and results in BIM platform can be input and output with various digital clients, so as to realize the visualization and automation of project progress management.
