Abstract Aiming at the problem of poor cooling effect and low heat recovery efficiency of LBTF5500 grate cooler in practical use, we take the measures by adding high pressure fan at the "steps", adopting reverse blowing on the grate bed and so on. The cooling effect of grate cooler has been improved. Clinker temperature of grate cooler has been decreased from 180℃ into 90℃. The modification effect is remarkable.
