Abstract This article introduces the process flow, main equipment and operation condition about TRMS4531 vertical roller mill for nickel slag grinding. Operating parameters of this vertical roller mill grinding system are better than contract requirements. This vertical roller mill is running smoothly with wild particle size distribution and activity index of nickel slag product for 28d can meet the requirements of the national standard S75. The power consumption for total grinding system is about 38.5kW·h/t, 30%~40% less than ball mill, which has a significant energy saving effect.
