Abstract The article is mainly about various speed regulation technique methods for HV fan. We discuss the advantages, disadvantages and application about HV VSD and internal feedback high frequency chopper wave for the same HV fan motor. HV VSD is better for the situation with wide speed range and good speed regulation, the internal feedback high frequency chopper wave is better for the situation with not wide speed range and normal speed regulation.
