Abstract The influence factor of clinker mineral composition, such as raw meal, calcination temperature, clinker cooling rate and kiln atmosphere is analyzed. The typical lithofacies structure characteristics and the causes hole, f-CaO, mineral nest are described; the application experience of lithofacies analysis is introduced.
