Abstract Based on the design practice of a 5 800t/d cement production line in Argentina, it introduces the design differences about fire hydrant system in NFPA Standard and Chinese Fire Protection Standard, compares indoor fire hydrant system, fire pump and fire stabilized pressure pump mainly, gives some advices about how to design fire hydrant system in overseas cement plant finally.
