Abstract: With the rapid growth of the usage of high-temperature grate plates in grate coolers, failure problems such as blade breakage, wear, and bending had become increasingly prominent. Through classifying and analyzing the failure state of high-temperature grate plates, improvement ideas were proposed. New material with better high-temperature mechanical properties was developed, the structure of the grate plate was optimized, and precision (lost wax) technology and non-destructive RT ray was used for new material casting and quality inspection. After one year of utilization, the optimized and upgraded high-temperature grate plate blades were basically free from wear and deformation, and the overall application was in good condition.
